In My Heart & A Giveaway || Favorite Type
I've been an active part of this blogging community for quite some time now and I cannot help but have my favorite kinds of posts.
Every blog has their own niche so that's cool.
I wanted to belong to a niche of my own before. I tried food blogging, make up/beauty blogging, review blogging..
But I always go back to my personal style--not having a niche.
My not having one specific set of topics to blog about makes me feel more free to be myself, to look for what I'm best at and to figure out what I want to do in life.
Posts from the heart.
When you write from the heart, people will know.
The ones who had the same experience, feel good that they are not alone in their situation and they become new friends.
The ones who are new to the experience, learn from it vicariously through you.
Posts like this take blogging to the next level.
You can compare how you feel when you read a blog that only has giveaways and sponsor posts.
I love my sponsors and I also do those on my blog, but I make it a point to keep in mind that my readers are not only visiting my blog for the sake of winning some products or ad spaces.
Readers click your link because they want to know you and to take part of your documentation of your life.
That's the way I see people.
It's a way to connect, to find new friends, and to show that we are all beyond who we think we are. :)
Posts about tips.
Knowledge is meant to be shared.
Credit is always due to the original idea but it is most lovely to share an idea.
In this world of creativity and innovation, I don't think there are lots of ideas that are firsts.
So I appreciate every single post with random tips about beauty, makeup, health, working out, dressing well or home design.
Posts about daily life.
I enjoy looking over photos of how people's weeks were.
I love seeing little places on your hometowns.
It makes me feel like I'm travelling every time I click on your links.
I feel happy whenever I see photos of your pets or your kids or just whatever.
It's like I'm knowing you and I'm where you are even if you're a million miles away.
What's your favorite kind of blog post?
Before ending this, who doesn't enjoy a giveaway!
I want to thank Sarah Louise for this very generous gift for Rushers for Bagels. :)
